Spoke with the client. They do not allow sharing of passwords. The only way a report can be assigned through broadcast orders is to sign in and utilize a password. And if an appraiser beats me to the assignment, I do not care as long as they are following the rules. How can an appraiser be researching, inspecting properties, and typing reports and beat me to the assignment in less than a minute. Sounds like you have this experience. Could you please teach me or tell me where to purchase an auto-accept program.

I do get order requests on my cell and can, in theory, accept an order almost immediately. I have all of my client portal passwords on my phone so that I can send messages and accept orders. However, I rarely do, I'd rather look them up and see what I am getting into.

Friends don't let friends work for "broadcast" clients.

There are check for change programs that are pretty easy to set up. It's also easy to set up an auto grab program. More power to them. They probably decline most the orders that have hair on them anyways after the fact, by claiming competency. Go get a developer to make a program for you. Or, who knows, they may not have any work and have been sitting there waiting for something to pop up.

I get it, there are rules, but it seems like the ones who get a head know how to bend them a bit or a least toe the line.

Perhaps they let the bid out early so a favored appraiser could accept it, then sent the rest out as a head fake.
