Yavapai County Assessor's Office seeks General Certified Appraiser for full time employment with county.

Level III Appraiser
Level III Appraisers provide oversight for appraisals headed towards litigation. They coordinate the appraisal process by reviewing cases to ensure appraisal reports are completed accurately and efficiently and resolve disputes.

- Performs post-audit field and desk reviews of real property appraisals
- Oversees appraisal disputes; re: cap rates, discounted cash flow, cost approach and more
- Creates narrative appraisal reports when needed.I
Need to have a thorough understanding of:
- Appraisal theory, principles, and techniques (e.g., market trends, cost, income and sales comparison approaches to value)
- Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP) standards
- Privacy Act and Information Security
- Appraisal reports (e.g., purchase, refinance, and liquidation)
