I keep getting the TSI "Guess what" emails but every time I try to get the order it is already gone. I would assume other appraisers are using an auto acceptor to get the orders so quickly. Is this an acceptable practice with TSI? If so, which auto acceptor is the best to use? Thanks!

Set up your email to check for new mail on short intervals. Using an auto accept program is NOT acceptable. and if caught, you get booted.

Why would you want to work for outfits like that?

Check "Clients" then TSI, then Advertised orders. I don't often accept them, they're usually low ball fees or orders they couldn't find some other schmuck to accept.

So, you're saying you want to be first on your block to accept broadcasted orders from TSI, which is known for suckering appraisers into accepting super low-ball fees?

That's a real reliable way to put yourself into the poor house extremely fast, while TSI is laughing all the way to the bank with some of your money.

The problem is your fees.

You are receiving the emails late because your fees are too high. They send the 'broadcast' orders in the order of the lowest fee and up. By the time you get the email it has been sent to multiple appraisers already.

Drop em' down to $175. Trust me, you want to work you need to drop your fees.

It's not their appraisers, it's some of the larger national companies that have an Auto-Accept. TSI doesn't allow the auto-accept route.

An appraiser can always withdraw from an assignment, but if your "auto acceptor" program "accepts" an assignment with obvious unacceptable assignment conditions, is not the very acceptance of the assignment a USPAP violation?

I have not heard from TSI in years. Who do they pimp for? They must not be active in this area.

I know many other AMC's that pay significantly less per file then TSI. In my experiance, they're one of the higher paying AMC's, and they always pay on time. Don't want their fees? No problem. More for the rest of us.
