There are no clients that have some kind of history with the appraiser that gets emails ignored. AMCs are something else. What they experience is a result of their business practices over time. AMC's don't give a **** about the appraiser so appraisers don't give a **** about AMC's. That's what they get.

There are plenty of firms that can provide better service, however the clients continue to go to the ones with the desired price point.

Everyone has choices, the clients you are referring to choose to go with the choice that meets their needs. It is cheaper to move a loan closing back than it is to hire an alternative appraiser to do the project well and quickly.
