I have a close friend whose father passed away and whose mother is now in a nursing home. She needs the house appraised to sell it.

Looking for an appraiser and recommendations for a good Realtor.

The property is located in Beaver Falls.

Mark Smeltzer, SRA, is an appraiser out there (near Pittsburgh). His AI website profile says that he covers Beaver County - you can get all of his contact info on there. He's a big instructor for the AI.and would be a good one to call.

I was contacted by PM and have arranged for an appraiser, but they are slow to get beck to me, so I will keep that in mind.

I think I took a class from Mr. Smeltzer.

Mark Smeltzer has been my favorite AI instructor by a mile - so far.

Someone commented on his double-dipping pet peeve the other day (EF I think). His war stories about collinearity are good fodder.

It was I, LH, that mentioned the double-dipping pet peeve. :icon_mrgreen: Mark definitely ranks in my top 3 favorite AI instructors (and I've had a LOT of them). The others are Pat Murphy, SRA (who frequents this forum) and Chip Hughes, MAI. These are my top three... and in no particular order. :icon_mrgreen:
