Any recommendations for the best flat panel monitor to get for appraising?

Thanks

SAMSUNG HAS A 24" WHICH IS HALF THE PRICE IT WAS LAST YEAR.
240T

GOOD FOR FINDING TYPOS, PLUS YOU CAN WATCH TV AT THE SAME TIME

I am using a Microtek C783, don't know if it is the best but it sure is nice. 17" LCD has same viewing area as 19" CRT and only takes 4" of desk space. About 400 at Office Depot.

Mine's a 17' Envision, about 4" thick, and about $500 at Staples. Keep in mind that a 17" flat screen will give a larger display area than a 17" regular screen. At least that's the line the salesman gave me, and it worked.

Sorry, Mike. I didn't read all of your post about screen size. Nevermind.
