Was approached yesterday by someone from the BBB explaining all of the potential benefits. Is anyone out there in appraiserland a member of the BBB? If so, what do you see as the major benefits? Apparently we have the ability to check their website for free to determine if complaints have been filed against any of our present or potential clients. Their website is www.bbb.org. Thanks in advance.

I'm a member of the local BBB. can't say that it really gets me anything. However, I frequently check other companys that I may be doing business with to see if there are any complaints filed and how they responded to them.

My experience, just a bunch of pompous asses looking for free appraisals.
Same experience when I joined the "Rotary". When the BBB needed new stationary they ordered it from an out-of-town printer, until somebody brought it to their attention (duh).
