The major banks have been denying loans to oil companies and coal companies for years. European banks are worse. Texas fought back and stopped using them to invest Texas monies. That did give them pause.

Always lack of housing and high demand. And problems with affordability. Nothing new.

For some it was the day they went broke...flat out broke, lost their home, lost their car, lost their business. And no small number lost their wives as a consequence. Women don't like losers.
