Like it or not, this is where the industry is going. Perhaps Zaio has morphed.

What is it?

Between them and Aloft, it seems like now is a great time to grab some VC cash and start an appraisal company.

No info on that page. Almost seems like a Kickstarter thing.

It seems like some inspection app. Most of these companies will go down in flames. They can't even tell the difference between what an appraiser and a home inspector do. They have about a year at best before they collapse. Remember House Canary? Yeah, you don't hear about them in the appraisal software business, and that's because they did not know what they were doing.

$69m Series A funding is some legit cash. No kickstarter here.

I suspect that since Wall Street wants to own everything that there is big money in valuations.

Rather than let them chip away at appraisals one product grab at a time, appraisers should all agree to stop appraising and give them the market if we are paid X billions collectively , and then get a million each in share to walk away. Surely a digital coin enterprise could buy us out ? A few billion is pocket change to them. We can create an NFT of our former appraisals for them to have forever transformed as a historical record.

What is it?
A tech company that is getting into the appraisal game. They just purchased an appraisal firm and I would guess many other acquisitions are in the works.

I believe this is where Dustin Harris has gone to. I think he sold his last business venture. One more guru selling out or is this deemed OK by most fee appraisers?
