Bitcoin $80,000

From chat GPT. Bitcoin breaks $93,000 amid rumors that Saudi, UAE, or Qatar is buying
They liquidated the shorts at 93.5k, then whipsawed down and liquidated the longs at 88k. I never play with leverage. Just spot bought more at 89k, but it gets harder and harder to accumulate. Big news is apparently coming through tomorrow… Stay humble, stack sats.

Good move getting into SOL. I’m still an ETH believer, but I have a good amount of SOL to hedge. I managed to sell my whole stack of Solana at $8 post FTX collapse in 2022 for tax loss harvesting purposes (my cost basis was around $30 at the time), then I immediately bought the entire amount back (no wash sale rule with crypto yet), and have been accumulating and staking it ever since.

I doubt Warren Buffet buys bitcoins. He doesn't even buy Gold.

As I recall, a few years ago, I said 'ok, I'm buying bitcoin, it must be a fabulous investment, at $68,000. Then it went down to $17,000.

Well, I'm just an idiot so tomorrow morning I'll buy 10 bitcoin at $92,000. I heard an expert say it was going to $1 million. : )

Anyone holding $FNMA?
Jr. and I have been trading it so many times since 08/09 I can't even recall most of the trades. Bought a shyt ton around .30. Sold successive half positions many, many times and are still holding something less than a shyt ton of free shares, looking for $25 someday. Made bank already but we're in it for a home run ball.

Nice move, I have never played the tax loss/wash game, I’ve never learned the finer points of that area. I stick to trading within my iTrust IRA and other IRAs with Bitcoin and ETH EFTs. Whenever I sense a Bitcoin ETF is overheated, I sell a portion of it and buy Berkshire Hathaway for a rainy day fund. I call it my Buffett/Munger/Bitcoin fund. :-) I started doing that when Grayscale GBTC was the only Bitcoin game in town.
I’m beginning to believe Cathie Wood was right in so many ways, the institutional buys for Bitcoin are continuing, plus the wire houses haven’t really begun. I’m also watching for the Microsoft shareholders decision next month on the proposal titled “Assessment of Investing in Bitcoin”. That could be major.
