Blacklist

"I admit when I need to bump up the appraised value, I use time adjustments on older comps. It's easy." Nando's recent quote.

Easy to hit the number and keep clients happy with appraisal ethics like this.
Why else appraiser uses time adjustments? Fannie wants value up and giving green light to use time adjustments to bump up values.
Nando tells it as it is.

Another citation for my book "Peanut Butter Appraising", everything an appraiser shouldn't do

Is there some kind of form to fill out to try to get reinstated when a lender puts you on a blacklist for no apparent reason?
I am thinking you might want to find out the reason if it is not apparent. Let's start at square 1 and go from there.

Fannie and Freddie don't control Federal Reserve Bank. Sorry Fannie and Freddie.

Okay, I will dive in. You asked for it. Are you LGBTQ? what is your race? What is your religion? Are you married? Are you old? Are you male or female? Were you born in USA? Do you have a different color?

Contact lender directly on Monday or today if possible. You report back. You can write your own form. Start as why you were blacklisted with lender. I really can't see a lender blacklisting you without giving you a reason. That is not ethical.

Ask lender why? Forget the AMC.

There will be a compliance officer with lender that you can speak with freely and just ask why?

The AMC is not your client. The lender is your client.
