Moderators could you move my post #2 to the Indiana section?

Haven't had a BOA request for a number of years. Don't forget someone has to pay for BOA/Landsafe's QC reviews. (Don't drink the kool-aide):fiddle::new_all_coholic:

BoA used to be soooooo good when they ordered direct. Man, those were the SALAD DAYS!!

;^)

Dave...

I merged the two threads you started into one thread. Posting duplicate (or near duplicate) threads is against forum rules.

Ok, Just wanted to post a section in the Indiana area, but accidentally placed it into the GBU section...

There is also a good possibility there was NO driveby appraisal done, just a driveby BPO!!!!!!

I agree that is a lot of money for a 2055 and I know the appraiser didn’t get anywhere near that amount. But I don't think she's giving you the whole story. Most likely the appraiser didn't hit the number she needed for her loan to close. A buddy of mine just paid $12k to close on a refi. $515 for an appraisal is a very small piece of the pie. Had the appraiser completed a 1004 and came in at the same value as the drive by would she still complain?

My conversation with her was brief, but $515 for an appraisal here in Indianapolis, Indiana is very high!!
