Does anyone else's browser get hijacked after hanging out on the forum for a few minutes?
"Browser hijacking is a form of unwanted software that modifies a web browser's settings without a user's permission, to inject unwanted advertising into the user'sbrowser. A browser hijacker may replace the existing home page, error page, or search engine with its own." WikipediaDescribe "hijacked".

Thanks. That describes to a "t" what happened on my phone. Hasn't happened lately, however (after downloading the phone updates).A spontaneous, unprovoked redirection would be a more accurate description.
Thank you, Amy (btw, what is your avatar?).
I, like Marion, don't have an issue with my computer.
But, I was getting re-directed on my cell phone. Usually, it tells me I've won some gift certificate from Wall-mart and starts to ask me some questions.
I try to keep my cell phone updates up-to-date, but a "techie" (as opposed to a "trekie"), I am not.
