License renewal is now $1,030. And if you try and renew online, here's the message you get from the BREA site:

Google Chrome/ Microsoft Edge users alert -- we are unable to complete online renewals using these browsers. We are investigating a solution. Please renew with another browser. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Use Firefox browser

I guess I'll have to (once I download it), since it appears that BREA considers Chrome to be a rarely-used browser (it's used as the default browser by "only" 70% of the US).

It's like a business advertising its drive-through service, but only for electric vehicles.

So... you just use Firefox for your renewal.

My last renewal was the 2yr (only required the USPAP update). I did it online and they processed it in 2 days. Superfast compared to 20 years ago.

What incredible incompetency. Well, I guess I should not be surprised., You would think for $1,030.00; they would know how to operate the two most promoent web browsers out there.

I renewed my on the easier 2 year USPAP cycle and yeah $1,030 ouch. Probably won't use it but figured I'd renew to see what things looked like in another 2 years. Imagine what the fee will be in 2 years since the stupid BREA is self funded right ? Almost all appraisers by 2 years will move on.

The more appraiser's drop out, the higher the fees will go
