Hi Virgil, Ed, et al.......

I'm in DAA and on the Board of Directors. There was a before-Christmas meeting after the little dab of snow we had, and it was at the Country Club up at Christiana. I didn't make it because we had furnace problems, then computer problems. When the messy weather came that day, I gave up my plan to head north. But, it was well attended, they told me. The Lewes meeting was before the October 31st license date, I remember. It was an environmental class, and a spectacular free lunch! I loved it! You were there, Virgil, weren't you?

It picked up here Monday, also, Ed. I was leisurely taking down my Christmas decorations last week, and Monday, when a flurry of orders started. Luckily, they were cookie cutters so the shock wasn't too great. But as said, nothing today and it will probably go back to being quiet again for awhile.
I guess it will be a restful weekend, huh? :fiddle:
 
I don't know why I didn't attend the before-X-mas meeting... I had nothing to do at all! :sad:

I received an REO order for a very high-dollar foreclosure - those are FUN! :icon_mrgreen: I agree, Charlotte... most of my orders have been for cookie cutters. I hate orders where I have to think! :laugh:

..............and I'd like to add: When things aren't crazy busy, words, adjectives, and suitable comments don't roll off the keyboard as easily! :unsure:

Well, I'm off to Curves! :new_let_it_all_out: It's lonely here in the office.

Hey Folks: Work has picked up this week. Just as my hard drive started to go south on computer #1 and #2 failed to boot up at all. So now to the laptop that I dislike! Fingers to big............
Anyhow median and average prices in all hundreds in Kent County from 2006 to 2007 are essentially the same except for the DC (duck creek) where they have declined. Market has 1580+/- residential listings with many paying concessions to sell! About half of the sales go through Trend MLS which has much inaccurate info/data! Just a little data to share!

I too am a Member of the DAA, yet have not been to a recent Meeting either, wanted to attend the one in December, so called my Sup. who said he would not be able to attend and well, I did not want to go alone :(

Als, I believe I have met some of you before, both in cont. ed. courses and the meetings, plus prior to choosing this proffesion, I had been involved in many aspects of real estate, so I have come to know many names.

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and I think I forum for each state is neat idea.

We have over 160 members of the DAA, but have no idea how many participate in the forum. I am located in Clarksville, DE outside of Bethany and we have been slow here as well (SOS). Hopefully this recent rate reduction will get people moving.....

We have never met but, I referred you a private job last spring/ early summer...I think it was in Angola by the Bay. A freind of the family called me to do it for his in-laws and as I did not feel competant for the beach market nor have access to that MLS, I researched Apprasiers listed at the beach area and chose to refer to you:) I may have even called you with a "heads up", but I simply cannot remember...terrible, huh:unsure:

Anyway, just picked up on your name and I hope you recieved the job!
