Can Anyone Other Than A Licensed Appraisal Take Inspection Photos?

In this instance a real estate agent is asking that we accept a picture sent by the owner of the property of the interior of an outbuilding that has not been inspected at all..

Yes, I understand. This is the point where my dear Mother would say, “And people in jail ask to be let out”. :)

What is being asked is 100% unacceptable - but it is unacceptable because of the lack of inspection by the appraiser, not because of the photo source.

Certifying to things not actually done is a career limiting move. Kudos for doing the right thing
