Can't get specific zoning

I hope the AMC's are reading this post and start to understand the problems in rural areas. Now if they can just understand the low fees in those areas as well.

You're assuming that they care, which, I assure you, they DO NOT. They want what they want, when they want it, at the price they want to pay.

You are kidding! Ask a REALTOR who services the area. You would be suprised what and who they know.

:rof: :rof: The realtors always have some of the most entertaining zoning descriptions and possible uses for the land.

:new_rofl:

Unfortunately, these are local (town) elected officials who have other full time jobs. They are basically like aldermen in a small city or village trustees. They usually realize that their position involves returning calls.

Usually.

Ahh, then it's the old ego booster thing. I love when people take positions, volunteer or otherwise, and then cannot fulfill the duties. Been on enough hockey boards to know.:peace:

That about sums it up. :new_smile-l:

Ahhhh Wednesday night is hockey night......(so is Sunday)

A Nerve Has Been Struck.

I get this kind of crap in my neck of the woods all the time. The only purpose these pi$$ant villages have is to keep worthless, mostly democrat, petty politicians on the payroll or in elected office long enough to draw state retirement benefits. (also are excellent speed traps, the part time police officer has to justify his salary somehow) The County could easily administer all the puny villages with a lot less headaches and much fewer personnel.

In instances where the a-hole just won't return a call, I include the zoning inspectors name and number in the appraisal, indicate that I've tried for three weeks to get a hold of him/her/it and let it go at that.

Is this an incorporated city? If so, call the mayor's office to register a complaint and explain the situation. If it is not an incorporated city, call the member of the Board of Supervisors that represents this area and register your complaint. Are YOU a voting member of that county?

If all else fails, call the sheriff and report a missing person. LOL

Thanks for the help, Mr Jackson called me back on the second day after I called him. Merry Christmas all!
