Did a brief period in cemetary sales a number of years ago. Actually enjoyed certain aspects of the job. One thing to consider, it has only been fairly recently that embalming fluid has become environmentally friendly. Older cemetaries are nothing more than toxic waste dumps. Oh yeah, tooth fillings=possible mercury contamination.
I worked at a long established cemetary in the south. One day I pulled a contract from 1962. In it was the following "...cemetary is for the specific internment of members of the caucasian race". I asked the boss about it. He said when they desegregated the cemetary some family members actually had their relatives dug up and moved to an all white cemetary. Times have changed.
