you know it is rigged when fannie didn't uad fees...
 
back in the good old days, i used to get wwll vets as the borrower...there was never a charge:giggle:

Same here. I miss those days. But now The hedge fund owner never cuts the fee :rof: Hell, probably charges those deplorable vets even more.
 
I used to work with mortgage brokers that occasionally asked me to go easy on my fee with their client because they were living on a fixed income. Refinancing to get a lower rate without any cash out. I would happily oblige..... but not to the tune of 40% off like the scumbag AMCs!

I'm currently working on one where the potential buyer of the property wants to seek a second opinion before deciding to purchase. He asked if I could offer a discount because the lender, through the AMC, charged him $800. I agreed and provided a small discount. By the way, these consumers are not stupid. I asked him if they had already completed the appraisal and he said no I know they wait three before closing before ordering the appraisal.
