Changes coming to the UAD reports

i'm a bit confused. the latest update only seems to cover build quality, condition, site and view but there are also the changes to reporting of the garage/parking spaces in the full appendix d link. when are the changes for the garage/parking going to take effect, or are they already?

Most of the most recent changes say... you can only have one rating per item and the rating must match throughout the report. That is... you can't say the subject is C3-C4... you have to pick one. And if you call if C3 in one place in the report, it has to be C3 every place in the report.

Of course... you could just go read them for yourself.

Don't forget to add a UAD Definitions page to your report.

alamode has one with their forms update issued on 12/26. I suspect the other vendors have the same.

UAD style number of levels issue

I posted this question in Urgent need help because I did not see there was a UAD forum so not to be penalized I will not copy and past it. Simply put, should the number of levels include the basement or not? Datamasters seems to think it should include the basement but no other section of the report includes the number of stories with the basement so it confuses the report. I spoke to there rep and they sent me appendix e which does not answer this question. Please help.

*Above* grade level

"Story" CAN include the basement 'Level', assuming the basement has living space.

If the basement just is used for storage, I would not include that as a 'story.'

See the other post on the AF about this topic....."Don't confuse Story with Basement"

What the heck this mean DT9;Townhouse

Detached, 9 story, Townhouse

Probably not accurate! Townhouses are normally 'attached.'

So where did you see this, or did you make it up?

I thought as much. It is a auto fill glitch with Data Master but I haven't found a list of all the new abbreviations. Not too many 9 story townhomes detached. Just a little off.
Thanks

Go into your report software list of forms available.

Look for the updated UAD definitions, effective Jan 2014. Put those pages into your reports, and remove the former 2011 version pages.

The new one should show the new definitions pertaining to Design/Style & Garage/Carport.........plus all the other abbreviations/definitions.
