ChatGPT vs Anthropic (Claude) vs xAI

After seeing this:

I decided to sign up with Anthropic/Claude and see the difference.

In my opinion, in important respects such as providing accurate and reliable answers to complex questions Claude is better than ChatGPT 4o. However, ChatGPT is a bit easier to use and more open-ended, with more plugins.

It almost make sense to go to ChatGPT first until it hits a failure point, then go to Claude and see how it does. Each is $20//month, although you can get Anthropic on a pay as you go basis.

Interestingly you CAN invest in Anthropic - and would be reasonable to assume it would be a good investment. I think that perhaps xAI might over take in 3 years or so. Hard to say.

If you haven't already, you need to jump in and start using them. Future careers will depend on your ability to communicate and control such systems.

I'm in the process of setting up new websites. I am going to have a Journal for Valuation Engineering on https://valuationengineer.com. Then I am going to have a R/Shiny interactive website. I will still keep some of my old websites and upgrade. I am moving some things from A2Hosting.com to Hostinger.com in Lithuania -- because it works better with what I want to do. I use VPS - so I have to get into Unix and deal with all the details. ChatGPT and Anthropic save me a lot of time in debugging. - And writing. Of course, I just happen to be inquisitive about everthing from health to topology to String Theory --- and I can learn new concepts faster with ChatGPT.

The last appraisal I did was almost a year ago. The fees are just not there to get me to bid for anymore requests. I am currently just stuck on technology upgrades, more or less - along with extending my knowledge along various fronts.

The OJS (Open Journal Systems) stuff is kind of complex. But I do have the OJS site up and running. And oh yes, I want to do more YouTube videos. ...

I've been playing around with Grammarly for the last couple of hours, and I must admit I am impressed with the interface in Word for my creative writing project. I thought I had a fairly tight writing style, but the software did point out a few improvements here and there. It even corrected an error as I wrote this.
