Wasn't it Xi who said they will fight to the end?
Never going to happen. So locked into their beliefs, as many here, they can be convinced chocolate pie is really key lime................I suggest that you attempt to cure your profound ignorance by reading it.
I want a slice of both....but those pesky doctors say....chocolate pie is really key lime.....
Yes, China, helped Vietnam against the French in the 1950's and 1960's as they fought against the US, but only a truly ignorant person would not understand that this was only a temporary thaw in the realtions between Vitenam and China (to fight against the capitalist west) and not understand the long and bitter rivlary between Vietnam and China, which resulted in a 10+ years border war between the 2 nations in the 1980's with several thousand casualties on both sides and ongoing disputes over the South China Sea.....although I am not a huge Wikipedia fan, here is an Wiki article on the history of Chinese-Vietnamese relations....I suggest that you attempt to cure your profound ignorance by reading it.
With an average monthly salary between $300-$600 (depending on the source), I am sure that the typical Vietnamese citizen is just thrilled with the CCP and communismits way more complicated and I wouldn't call it profound ignorance to recognize the complicated history the two countries have. You seem to be stuck in one era of their history without understanding the more nuanced relationshps that have evolved. Relations were normalized in 1990-1991 and they still have strong ties.
Interesting video. If this was happening in the U.S. we would call this a depression. The problem with China is they made labor so cheap they had no domestic consumption. They depended upon exports to drive their economy. The problem is that game can change. India is a large population of cheap labor. Japan was just like China back in the 60’s to 80’s. But they let incomes rise to have domestic consumption, and so their economy could survive on domestic consumption and not just exports. I personally think China’s economy could easily collapse because of central Communist control. Xi has moved away from market forces to central command. That doesn’t work.
I found it interesting as well. I saw the domestic consumption differently however. It does appear they have all kinds of it..... so much so that the video states they're undercutting each other in pricing. That, along with high unemployment. They seem to be manufacturing too many goods even for export. Now with Trump's tariff wars, there's no sales, no work.Interesting video.
