Yeah, me too. I used Datamaster for 6-7 years until I found out about Spark here on AF. I tried out Spark with the free trial offer and never looked back. This was two years ago. Spark blows Datamaster out of the water.

I got an order from Class yesterday. A 1004 + 1007 with a 4 day deadline for $400.

Spark is the only company in the world that returns a missed call . . . even if you don't leave a message. A few days ago I decided to create an ACI 1004 report without using Spark, just for the heck of it, and I would quit the profession today if I had to do that again. Spark has increased by productivity by 300%, as well as the quality of my reports. LOVE LOVE LOVE SPARK.

p.s. It is as though the company anticipated every possible appraiser need, making options available for almost every scenario.

i told myself id never leave DM. so what am i missing not using spark?

I've never seen DM but I often "time myself" using Spark, with 30 minutes typically needed to populate about 80% of the 1004 and 1004MC.

(I've left a message at 3 a.m. The Spark greeting says "We're closed for the night," but in like 10 minutes I receive a return call from customer support, which is a surprisingly small group all of whom are knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor as well, although it presumably would hell trying to become a customer service company for an appraisal entity, without being an appraiser....

i like the service but to load 3 comps, enter subject info and 1004mc data takes 10 minutes in DM. id love to find something quicker tho and it cost me about $1.50 per report to use DM.

Spark is faster, easy to use. I'm not very tech savvy, and its pretty easy to use. After your purchase they do a live approx 30 min call to walk you through it.

It does the entire 1004mc with commentary...AND does time adjustments on the sales grid! You have the flexibility to edit everything before it populates, so you have control over any time adjustments.
