There has been recent news germane to the topic and rather than starting a new thread I figured it would make more sense to add to the discussion in this thread..

It is a 2 year old thread. Threads that have had no postings to them after 6 months are automatically closed. If there is some recent news about the subject, start a new thread.

We did this to keep people from resurrecting older threads and posting to them, which made other users think that the original post in the thread was recent. Keep in mind that we have some threads up to 15 years old.
