Hi, I am planning to relocate to NC to start a career in commercial real estate appraisal. I wanted to understand what the fees were like there on average. The pole asks for the current market but would be great to hear in the thread what it was like before as well so I can gauge the potential of the market.

Meaningless - my projects are vetted individually. The fee might be $400, or $4,000. But they are my fee. I never get asked to cut my fee. I never have to bid.... and I never will.

Yep. My fees are based on how much work I estimate the assignment will take.
