Concrete Work

Too cheap to hire it out! I resemble that remark!! Our new place going up, I was too cheap to hire out the tile work cuz we've done so much of it ourselves. Then dummie realizes when it's too late, that I'm really too pregnant/just had the baby to be of much help to the Hubby this time. I usually figure out the wierd cuts and man the wet saw. He did the kitchen, pantry, utility and the upstairs bath and tub surround almost solo. I'll be helping him with the master bath next week. I think I've done burnt him out on remodeling as we did this silly DW we live in now from top to bottom while living in it. 6+ years. The new place won't need any remodeling, but we get to start all over with blank dirt, no fencing, etc. Ahhhh. Blank slate, ready for our creativity (and aching backs! )

Drywall dust does have a special flavor, agreed. It also has the most annoying habit of getting into every cabinet, drawer, through closed doors......
