How is everyone treating these new condo "brands". Example Porsche design tower (sunny isles, florida), Fendi suites, Trump building, etc). Are you seeing any specific value being attached to these brands and do the units/projects lose any value if they lose the brand. Thanks

Let's wait until after November 8th to see if values rise or fall in the Trump tower.

I no longer live/work in Miami Dade County, but can see if glitzy high end brands appeal esp to international buyers (if that is part of market ) and snobby US buyers ...see what units sell for in those buildings ,

I doubt I'd personally make an adjustment for a "brand" name...I can tell you that values have gone down in Trump Tower Condo in West Palm Beach, because the once glitzy facade is now ordinary and the construction is nothing special (never was), only the units with good views or remodeled do well...because newer, more upscale buildings have gone up around it. His name might be a joke and a determent at this point as a building brand...

What about other "brand" condo's not associated to Trump. Has anyone ever seen a loss of value if the brand is pulled.

ask RE agents in your market area.

Sounds like the buyers would be idiots for value to drop if that happens...surely if Fendi Towers loses its brand name, another pretentious, upscale image name for the building will be dreamed up.

I've seen Condos and PUDs renamed if the original condo (often a conversion or buiilder went BK) had a troubled history, a new name will be given, does seem to help a bit but you seem to be asking a reverse question. What buyers are so attached to a brand name they'd actually pay less if that name were changed? Seems possible some buyers might see a brand name on a building as a bit much, ridiculous even.
