Contacting clients after a dry spell

We have all had clients who for whatever reason stop ordering, with no explanation as to why. What are your tactics for contacting them after a dry spell? How long do you wait? What do you say/ask? Thanks.

call information,,,get their home number and call them to see where they are working NOW!

I find that loan officers quit, move, and new ones appear. If you can work up the nerve (and I am doing it) I am recontacting them, letting them know I am on their approved list and would appreciate any business they can send my way. It never hurts to ask. In this day and time many lenders have had a revolving door with loan officers and (like us) stopped making much money.

Jim, whenever I run into a situation like you describe, I always email them some pictures as proof of what the real deal is, this way they know who the straight shooter is, and if they still hit the road, good riddance...

I always send them the pictures and a writeup on what I saw so I can collect the inspection fee. My gut is they'll be back.
