Larry---thanks for watching for any workshops in your area. We are going to spend a few days in the Reno/Tahoe area, and I would like to write off my portion of the trip!! Thanks, Jleddy

Jana, job search activites are also deductible, even if you do not accept a job or receive an offer.

So you and your spouse should plan on applying at several places throughout the week so both of you can write off the expense. BTW, it does look better to the IRS if you have interviews prescheduled.....just keep your documentaion and do not try to shelter gambling debts or showgirl expenses.

I have good news for you. Our friends from the Chicopee Group are going to be offering classes in Reno form October 16th to the 27th. I've taken lots of classes from them over the years. The instructer is Calr Dutch. You can check their website at www.chicopeegroup.com for classes offered. My daughter or I may be in some of the classes ourselves. If so, I will say hi. Hope this fits your schedule.
