Core Logic Tax Collection Business Horrible

My County taxes are due on 4/30/2024. I guess now Core Logic collects money from most loan companies and pays the County Treasurer. Unfortunately, although my Credit Union paid the bill Core Logic is not paying the county and I am getting all sorts of notices about this from the Treasurer's office.

I'm curious if anyone else has had this happen here.

Yes, I have an escrow account. The account pays Core Logic and they sit on the money.

Sounds like class action lawsuit time - after all every borrower in the county with a CL managed loan should be in the same boat.

CL doesn't manage the loan, only the County Taxes on the loan. I also think this might be political because the Treasurer is running for a Congressional seat, and it makes him look bad when everyone blames their office for being slow to process the taxes.

Yeah, I think I would be going ballistic about now if my property taxes were late due to bureaucratic incompetence.

Go after your mortgage holder HARD. They created the mess, demand they clear it up. Tell them to refund your escrow so you can pay it yourself. They have as much at stake as you do if the taxes are not paid. They also have far more leverage with CL than you will.

It's CoreLogic incompetence, and I'm afraid this type of stuff is going to infect the entire Real Estate market in the future because their tentacles are everywhere.
