Corelogic Just Acquired Alamode

I'd love to see a nationwide boycott of Alamode. As in, NO appraisers renew their service. I'm done, hated Corelogic for years for multiple reasons and I will not be giving them my money and my data willingly. Clickforms we say?

Well, they'll only have us a customers until we either find other software, or find a different profession. We're working hardest on the latter. I can already see/hear the difference in calls to customer service. What used to be some of the most friendly, helpful guys in the business now has taken the tone of companies like the AMCs that have too much market share.

Maybe instead of walking us through our software problem and fixing it on the phone, they might refer us to page #137 in the User Guide and wish us good luck.

The crackdown continues: Several people on FB are claiming a la mode is now picking up Dropbox as an additional ISP/user when it syncs if they are logged in on a different computer. One poster claims he’s licensed for 3 computers, Dropbox synced while he was logged in, and a la mode locked his account claiming concurrent use.

I have beta tested this new software. It’s not the company you speak of. It’s really good and has everything you need built into it. It’s coming out in JUNE. Still have a couple more tests to do.

I'm optimistic about the future. In a matter of just a few weeks, a NEW appraisal software will be introduced.

There is valuable space, now more than ever, for appraiser neutrality in the marketplace and these are very exciting times.

Do you know if the software mjs1419 is beta testing is the same as the software you are referring to? Is this cloud based or something you install locally? For reasons beyond CoreLogic, I am anxious to use a different software suite. I'm really hoping to find something that works better with Linux than using a virtual machine. (Still hoping for something cross platform based, but I know thats not happening. So I'll settle for cloud based)

Our local Tax Assessors office turned the administration of their computer system over to the State Capitol, and now Big Data is getting erroneous home square footage which has already transferred to Zillow and the MLS. I see another decade of job security before this cluster is un ****ed.
