That's funny. States will get more and more power soon. Taxes will be the reason in some states.. All the mortgage fraud that occurred and all the mortgage business going on in individual states and you don't see that coming?
So states don't tax mortgages, mortgage companies or mortgage related businesses now? Weird. I thought that every state taxes some combination of the following: mortgages; real estate transfers; mortgage and title insurance; business entities (through income and/or franchise taxes). I guess I better go over to accounting and tell them to stop paying the taxes in those states that tax MI premiums and to stop paying the income and franchise taxes in those states that collect those taxes from us.

Why is Eli such a punching bag on this forum? I've not been on this forum as long as some but I kind of like reading his posts and don't really see the need for throwing out insults. But maybe that's just me.

I could sort of tell that you would be a big fan of wispy, stream of consciousness threads as soon as you signed up here. :)

I am trying to tell you point blank that some states are losing tax dollars on appraisal fees because of how their state taxes are done. And you want to say I have an intelligence problem? Lol

You have no idea what is going on right now behind the scenes and don't even know it.

So as an appraiser, you are cheering on states to find ways to increase taxes on appraisal fees? Or do you somehow believe that states will just increase taxes on AMC's and not increase taxes on appraisers once geniused like you and your pals inform them that there is more tax revenue that can be extracted from the appraisal business?

You are even more of genius than I thought!
