Costco $4.99 chicken has preservatives

I think all the organic stuff is a scam. It all comes off the same conveyor belts and just package differently and you get charged more because it says "organic".

I think organic is just like car batteries. One manufacturer makes the battery and different labels are stuck on them. AC Delco, Bosch, Interstate, Motorcraft.... all the same batteries, different label.

There's no/some/all truth to this. I used to grow organic wheatgrass and to get certified needed an onsite inspection which they did 1 time. After that you can do what you want the thinking is I guess if you're going to go to the trouble you care enough to continue the practice. Anyhoo, buy farm eggs vs store eggs and see the color difference? Has to matter some same thing with actual grass fed beef vs store grass fed. Totally different color fat again same for raw whole chickens too. Yellow vs white I'm not hardcore organic but I don't eat much of anything from cans or frozen food aisle. Oh!!! My chick just bought Texas Road house butter from BJ's wholesale. I thought, great I love that stuff. The #1 ingredient is soybean oil then 50 more assifiers and stabilizers lol. The legit butter is just actual butter, powdered sugar, honey and cinnamon. I'm not done haha ever wonder why store bought butter doesn't get soft like it used to? Farmers add palm oil to their feed to increase milk production. The palmitic acid increases the melting point resulting in hard room temp butter. So yeah, even our butter has been f'd with don't use the cheap brands.

On the other hand, I am not sure how much you can buy that is prepared by somebody else that don't have preservatives in it, whether fresh or frozen.

That don't matter whether you are doing it or eating out.

I can think of many frozen dinners in frozen food section at grocery. I don't know. A pot pie or pizza may have preservatives in it for all I know.

I would not think fresh fish, ground beef, chicken, pork would have preservatives in it whether it has been frozen or not.

The freezing part is a preservative. That is like canning fresh vegetables. It preserves them. Salt is a preservative.

Frozen veggies are actually the only legit thing in the frozen food aisle but they've all been sprayed with chems too. Whadda ya gonna do

My wife bought 2 of them at Sam's before Easter. They $4.98. We were there the Saturday before Easter and they were sold out of chickens by about lunch time. One or two didn't like ham. I cooked a copy cat honeybaked spiral sliced ham bone in that I had in freezer and took out. Wife bought a whole Easter meal from cracker barrel that Spiral sliced ham and vegetables and 2 pies. My ham was way better than Cracker Barrel's. LOL

I had put mine in fridge in outside office after cooking it and wife had tried it. She said Cracker Barrel was dry and she overheated it she thinks. Mine was very tender and would melt in your mouth.

I used a pastry brush and had brushed the glaze between every slice before cooking at like 250 degrees for like 2-2.5 hours. and then rubbed it with brown sugar and honey and butter and broiled it a little to brown it on top. . It was good. It had a little sugar crust on the outside.

She said go get your ham right now. I said okay honey. LOL I think everybody took a paper plate home with him for supper.

It probably had preservatives in it. They say store bought spiral sliced hams are good for like 4 to 5 days in refrigerator after you warm it up. It probably has preservatives in it. Most are fully cooked before you warm them and baste them. You could probably unwrap them and eat them cold.

I prefer to stay in hotels providing free breakfast but after everyday, the food is the same.
And my wife hates the free cheap breakfast buffet unless in a nice hotel. Thus I be only one waking up early to eat the food.
You don't know that the fancy restaurants you eat at don't serve you food with preservatives.

Oh, well, ignorance is bliss. LOL

Don't make them mad Fernando. They will spit in your food. LOL
