Costco $4.99 chicken has preservatives

Was at Costco yesterday to fill up my refrigerator. Weird since having been there in two weeks.
There were few customers than usual. What's up with that? Consumers holding back?
And gasoline price has risen a dollar to $5.29/gallon which is ridiculously high. No wonder no lines. There's no reason why gas prices so high in Costco than at my local station.
World doesn't make sense.

I bet if you priced you same airline tickets today, they would more expensive than when you flew.

Liquid lagoon waste is far worse than dry litter. We had one farmer using effluent from a sewer plant but they were required to use fertilizer knives and inject into the soil about 5" deep or so.

Back in the day you could broadcast it in Illinois, now you have to inject it.

I bought my ticket months ago. Same with hotel reservations. Same hotel now would cost 40% more.
As for my other trip in June, I'm hoping the Iran war will be over before then and travel costs will drop substantially.

I have no doubt about that. I am surprised on the hotel a little, but I guess their costs on food maybe have gone up. Your probably doing a package deal on airline/hotel/etc.

My son's girlfriend had booked this trip to Ireland for his birthday months ago. Memphis had some bad weather and canceled the flight. The airline honored the flight out of Nashville, but Nashville is about a 3 hour drive from Memphis. So they had to drive to Nashville to keep the trip alive.

They made it okay. I haven't heard much from him. I hope they are okay.

You kill me anyway Fernando. Has Costco gone up from $4.99 a rotisserie chicken yet? Are they $6.99 now?

I didn't even know you ate at home.

I made what is called a Millionaire chicken casserole yesterday. Kroger did run boneless skinless chicken breast on special again this week.

I promise you I could not buy a whole fresh chicken at Kroger and cook it for $4.99. I can't afford to eat out and travel all the time like you either.

I'll be at Kroger or Sams again this week and see what whole rotisserie chicken is.

Sams is not smoking gas price on people this week. Maybe $0.3 cents cheaper. Many people are $0.20 cents higher than sams but many are just above 3 cents higher than Sams.

I do the planning myself. No package deals. There's so much I can advance plan because something always goes wrong.
Juggling all the places to go and keeping track of the tickets, I admit I got confuse and things could have gone terribly. I'm not as sharp as when I was younger.
Fortunately, I made it through the trip. It's getting harder mentally and physically as I get older.
