Crawl Space Inspection, er..Observation

Yup, that's what she says! I taped an engineer's scale to a common locking measuring tape, extended the tape, reached back and while applying light pressure on the lock, lowered the tape case until the scale touched the back of my britches and then locked the tape.
 
sounds like something from a **** site!!!
 
Three Parts to this Reply:
First, everyone is correct; if area is not readily accessable, just disclose.
Second, if you are hurt during an inspection (and are self-employed) you have just lost your source of income. Your clients will just call the next appraiser on their list to do their work (its just business) and if you are unable to work for a month or more, you may just loose most of your clients, esp. in this busy market.
Third, to the comment about walking through someone's home all wet and muddy, I always do the interior first. I know that most appraisers inspect the exterior first, but the bank's customers seem to appreciate that my feet are (relatively) clean when I am walking through their bedrooms.
