B. And they don't want a plant anyone can grow on their patio. They want something they can jack you $1,000 per pill for.

There are already cures, the FDA just shelves them before they can hit the market. There are also highly effective treatments which don't make you as sick when fighting, but they use less, if any pharmaceuticals, therefore they are shelved. The FDA is in the pockets of big pharma, and have no interest in finding or allowing a cure to hit the market.
