CV Curriculum Vitae?

Attorneys are the only ones that call it CV. Include information pertinent to the client. For instance, if you've testified, they may want to see a summary of which courts you testified in.

Tim,

Lots of good responses here. Like Danny I try to keep mine fairly brief- about 1.5 legal pages.

I leave out most specifics jobs I have had (so it does differ or can differ a bit from the classic resume) and I offer a synopsis of coursework and teaching assignments vs. listing them individually.

I do include former testimony including the counties in which I have been deemed by the courts to be an expert witness but do not cite specific cases (not that there is anything wrong with that). I also include specific areas of expertise that I have (i.e historic homes, etc.).

I use the heading Curriculum Vitae but have seen many that just say Vitae or even Vita.

Good luck.

Brad
