Del Monte Foods, the 138-year-old company best known for its canned fruits and vegetables, has filed for bankruptcy and is looking for a buyer.
Late Tuesday, the company announced it was voluntarily entering Chapter 11 and is going through a sale process for all of its assets.

Bad management. A few years ago they bought a failing canner and then closed it. Lost money on that. A year they had too much corn, rather than can it and store it they didn't take the crop. Farmers were hurt but the following year, they were short of corn and farmers did not want to plant for them.

They only need to file BK five more time to be as business savvy at Trump & Co.
