I guess we know the name doesn't stem from residing in Denver.

Naa, I like fishing. The problem with fishing in Colorado these days is every flatlander in the country wanted to move here and now they stand shoulder to shoulder at every dang stream with thousands of dollars wroth of fancy gear treating the yearly fingerling stocking release like a kenosha salmon run.

And I do NOT reside in Denver. Stay away from that place if you know what's good for you.

Last time I was there a carjacked truck full of idiot teens nearly ran me into a petroleum semi trailer, cops and whomever they stole that truck from, hot on their tail. Swear it was a scene right out of an action racing movie and I was the innocent bystander whom came within an inch of their life of being straight wiped out. Rather upsetting. So I joined the pursuit, caught up with them, and came racing down the wrong way in traffic to aid and assist. The cops were on the next road over. The guy chasing the vehicle was ripping a monster donut in his six wheel duelie longbed ford, smoke in the air and tar on the road, the teens evaded that guy and came straight at me uphill. I pivoted and blocked the road. They went past me on the sidewalk and sped away. This is only one of many reasons I don't take appraisal requests in Denver anymore.

Ever seen hobo with a shotgun? I actually checked this off my bucket list; Things you never expect to see in real life. I actually found and took a photo of that guys tent; the homeless guy with a lawn mower. He was living the dream too; carved out a little yard on the setback median, had the mower and a rake. Prime real estate right next to the cafe.
