Does any one know how to find details on a complaint by case #? There was an appraiser in my area who had his license revoked a while back but the DOAH website does not show any action against him. The DBPR license search shows his license revoked but not the particulars behind the case.

Go back into DBPR and follow these steps:

1. DBPR home page
2. DIRECT TO OUR DIVISION
3. Real Estate
4. Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board
5. Disciplinary Activity Report
6. Choose the year you are looking for

Hope this helps

The Disciplinary Activity Report does not show the administrative complaint, just the results of the hearing/investigation. Normally, the DOAH website shows all of the documents pertaining to individual cases. In this case I can't find the person as receiving any punishment according to the website, but the DBPR site shows his license as revoked. I am trying to get the particulars of the case, primarily the administrative complaint.

If you have a name, I might be able to find the case number. Either post it here, email or phone me with the information you have. Use either link below for my email addess and phone number.

There are several case numbers. Frank, you may remember this case given the number of complaints.

These cases did not go to DOAH. Mr Longacre had all of his Administrative Complaints handled through Informal Hearings before the FREAB.

If you are interested in the details of the cases, make a public records request from the Division of Real Estate by Case Number.

These are all from quite some time ago. I'm not sure what I might have in my records, but if I find some notes I will post them here.

Thanks Frank. I guess that's why I could not find it.
