Discussion about AMC worth watching

You don't like AMCs most don't but why watch a video supporting AMCs if your not really listening or learning anything. The Ship Sailed 26 years ago and AMCs won't leave until there's no more appraisers left to manage. The lawmakers wrote the rules allowing the AMC model to operate and it's not changing.

P.S. I'm not a liberal but a Alt Right Nationalist who doesn't believe in two party neo democracy's or even a congress.

If you have an attitude like yours nothing will change. You are a defeated person, its sad. You even created your own imaginary party. You are doing a lot of harm to appraisers who want to change, i don't know whats going on with your brain.
 
nobody likes the leftist anymore. They are turning life into hell.
 
When you say, 'liberal', are you talking politically? Or are you lumping the ValExpo crowd in with the political 'liberals'? I've always found it entertaining, enlightening, and possibly educational to listen to others. Seems to me that if you restrict your audience to those that agree with you, you're left with little more than the proverbial circle session. Although I do understand there are those who prefer that environment.
 
95% on this forum hate AMCs so in general ones who've been on this forum for 15 to 20 years tend to believe most appraisers hate AMCs and so we start to live in a bubble.

My partner loved his AMCs and most paid him good fees and he also eliminated all marketing costs which he previously was one of the few appraisers I've known that was always spending money on getting additional business.

Most of the appraisers prior to the AMCs worked in fee split shops where they collected 40% to 50% and today they do better with good AMC versus old fee sweat shops.

The reason AMC are not a battle is there are more loan production appraisers that like the AMC model then ones who want to do their own marketing. The forum members are a minority in the hate for the AMC model and that's why the AMC is not going away.
 
There are good AMC's and bad AMC's - just like there are good appraisers and bad appraisers. That said, I have found that AMC's with VC backing tend to take a MUCH lower opinion of the appraiser than do the ones not indebted to VC $.
 
Those that are retired should change their status to retired appraiser or public so that there is no confusion.
