I have a client / attorney that wants me to do an appraisal with 3 effective dates for a divorce situation. Can I do that?? It seems to me that with three dates you have three separate reports. Right?? Any advise is appreciated.

It's three separate appraisals, but it can be a single "report".

Very common, do it in one big narrative you know a 100 pager that will stand up in court....that is a big pay day for you.

And what three dates does the attorney want?

You can certainly do it!! I'd be happy with an assignment like that!! $$$$$

Make sure you get an engagement letter with fees and hourly court fees before you do anything.

Date of marriage, separation and current. Could be some work though they were married in '86.

I figured I would have to do it in a narrative format.

Already working on one. Thanks

Don't forget the court fee's start when you leave your house!!

Don't forget adequate prep time to review the file before leaving the house and minimum $$$$ up front if they do want you to go to court.
