Do appraisers look under sinks?

I look at the building inspection report.
So? What beith this building report thou speak of? I've never seen one. I've seen a home inspection and been to the county fair...but some document? I'll look for myself.

If lender finds out there's a disposal and you didn't indicate it, I believe lender doesn't really care.
It's about writing a good report and caring enough to do so. Also, if anyone ever has a problem with one of your reports, they will go through and mark every mistake, enough of them makes you look incompetent, ask any attorney.

You might find Ralphie's brother under there.

why? I have a disposal and my septic is 37 years old...never needed pumped due to malfunction yet.

I guess I got some wrong information. lol Was told it was bad for septics. Most rural properties I have inspected don't have one so I believed it to be true.

Also you need some extra thin TP I hear. What's the point if you use twice as much? :cautious:

Depends. If it's an FHA appraisal, I look under sinks.... to see if there are any leaks. Appraisal for a conventional loan, usually not.
