Chronic pain often fluctuates during the day and for some it worsens at night — but why?

What's weirder is going to bed feeling find and waking up a new pain.... :cautious:

They don't know whether I have arthritis or fibromyalgia...well, they know I have arthritis but do I have fibromyalgia on top of it. I am "stove up" as the old-timers say, when I get up in the morning. I am not worth shooting before 10 am. But I am old. I have lived longer than my dad, my brother, and the two cousins that were the same age that I graduated High School with. I haven't slept 3 hours without waking in years.

My mother and grandmother had arthritis as did my father's brothers. Start taking 1,000 mg of Thorne Curcumin if you don't have blood thinning issues. The inflammation will dissappear after time. I've taken this stuff for 20 years and literally have no issues except being exceptionally handsome.

YES! I fell off a porch into a snowdrift last week and sprained my wrist bad. I thought it was broken at first, but no (due to my husband's 6 month stint in nursing school). The only time it hurts really bad is at night. I have a lidocaine wrap and a wrist brace. I'm sure it's on the Seller's Ring video, won't be posted until after the closing though, lol.

Probably both. I get the "stove up" vernacular. I too am worthless before 9-10 am. I keep waiting for that magical day I'll wake up without an alarm and spring out of bed at 6 like my Mom (spoiler alert, not going to happen).
I used to have to be on I-24 everyday by 5:30 A.M to arrive at downtown Nashville by 8:00 AM and then drive 1.5 hours home (a 35 mile trip) by 7pm, for a job that could be done at home. Memphis has nothing on Nashville traffic.

Memphis has nothing on Nashville traffic.
Been to Dallas, been to Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Tulsa, Okla City, Albuquerque... Nothing is worse than Denver or Dallas...nothing...although St. Louis tries.

Insurify ranked my town of Murfreesboro the 14th most dangerous city for traffic in the entire country in 2021, it's probably much worse now. Yes, Dallas is a nightmare, Pittsburgh scary cliffhanger roads and going over the wrong bridge before you know it. New Orleans and St Louis were always for fun, so possibly I just don't remember the traffic there.
