Good......we all like a "more the merrier" manner of sharing here.
If you were to go to the auto dealership this evening to get the keys for a newly-purchased pick-up truck that was now serviced, and prepped, and ready to roll off the lot.........but the right rear wheel and tire were nowhere to be seen and that part of the ***-end were resting directly on the asphalt of the parking lot......yet, the dealer said everything is fine, go ahead, take the truck home....and thank you for doing business with us.......
......would you attempt to drive that truck home ? or would you say.......Heh, wait just a minute, what about the right rear tire thing there ? Uh, excuse me, but this truck is not "complete" without another wheel and tire !
Is your truck fully functional ? Does your new truck represent its full value at that moment ? Sometimes those equal perspectives apply to houses, too. There are lenders who deserve the right to make the same judgments about a house before they will grant extended loans against the property. If I were appraising a house with an on-going addition that was not yet complete I would employ a Check Box 4 situation......and leave it to the lender to take it from there.......even if everybody else was raving about a rolling boil of property appreciation in that market !
