Does removing anomimity influence polls?

Income poll. Will people be afraid to vote if their anomity is removed?

This may need to be moved to the watercooler. I have always believed that anonymous polls received less than honest votes. However, I also believe that public votes on this issue would draw very little response. Especially on the popular income survey that pops up every few months. So, a flawed poll is better than a public poll with no response? Comments?


Sorry, it was Saturday and I would rather do this than drive 50 miles to do an inspection.

Exactly, Tina. That is why the famous income poll has always made me laugh. Some will be less than honest in the vote. Some will just lie to see the response. The income poll really has little merit if you think about it. Plus, we rarely have over 150 votes and that is way to low a contribution to draw any definitive idea about the entire profession. Besides, does it really matter what others make in this business?
