Don't like Vista - here's an option

Was browsing the Tech journals in the Dr's office the other day. Seems that Windows Workstation 2008 is a very good alternative to Vista. Actually works cleanly. We faced this issue with Windows 98, etc when they were very buggy, and went to NT. Same thing today. It's a bit more expensive, but if the sucker works, it'll keep you from having to buy a wig from pulling your hair out.

I've heard rumors that MS is not planning any major upgrades to Vista and the next MS OS is planned for 2010. I haven't verified this, heard it thru the underground.

Due to the issues with Vista and the not too distant 2010, I may skip Vista and wait for the 2010 OS if the rumor is true.

This is NOT a true option. Workstation 2008 is Server 2008 with add ons. If you think Vista is high dollar, just look at the price for Server.
