Trump made VA reform a pillar of his presidential campaign, including releasing a 10-point plan which called for more mental health care professionals in the department, a private White House hotline devoted to fielding complaints from veterans, and a commission to “investigate all the fraud, cover-ups, and wrongdoing that has taken place in the VA” in recent years.

Can't happen soon enough. Should have happened when any of the above abuses were even "suspected" which was a very very long time ago.

Locally many non-VA doctors haven't been paid for VA patients VA promised to pay when Fayetteville VA had funds poached from their budget to patch up Phoenix. A niece working for VA also works a clinic on weekends. That doctor is out $20,000 in unpaid bills, and is now sending bills directly to patients who are raising heck with VA to no avail.
