how do I get the whole drawing area into the screen area without a scroll bar on the right hand side. It's frustating to be doing a drawing that appears to go off the drawing area but in fact is just hidden in the unscrolled area. The screen doesn't scroll down to this area automatically so you can't see what you are drawing? This is very frustrating!!!

Control "R" will let you scale the drawing to any size you like and simply hitting "C" will center the sketch at any time.

Bill,

From the menu, choose View/Zoom/Whole Page.

I'm sorry I couldn't make that hard.

Mark,

Here is something that is really screwy...when I open Apex from my desktop I get a large full screen without a scrollbar area to draw on but when I open it with ClickFORMS, I get the scrollbar. I tried your suggestion and it did work but I was wondering if there is any way to get it to come up that way without going through all the little formalities?

Just a small note, I got out of the program and started it back up again and it came in as the whole page north to south but not east to west. I guess you can't have everything.

I use the scroll on the mouse then hit c to center it.

The scroll on my mouse changes the scale of the drawing. Guess I am just going to have to suffer through what I have till I can afford 3.0...

I've got 3.0 on the way ... Will post a review in a week or so ... :D

Bill,

I really don't have any idea why it opens differently through Clickforms than it does as a stand alone program. Because of the way the different forms vendors integrate, their controls can cause it to react differently.

While in integrated mode Apex ignores the "Page Layout" you normally see in Stand Alone Mode. The reason for this has to do more with image creation than anything else. Allowing you to choose a different form during integration could at times cause the image created to be "stretched" resulting in a sketch that doesn't represent the actual property very well.

This is why you see different behavior between the two modes of operation.

Hope this helps!
