If this has been asked forgive me and please explain again. I am looking for free drivers for my printer to convert Word doc's to PDF's. Does anyone know of a site to down load these drivers? I have done a search but there is so much junk. It is hard to tell which is reliable.

"Cute pdf" is free. I have used it before but its features are limited. Just spring for the Adobe Pro.

You can use Adobe Pro as a trial version also.
Also you might qualify for academic pricing.

I use Primo PDF. http://www.primopdf.com/ using it for about 2 years eversince my adobe decided it didnt like my computer anymore and quit working.

I've been using Cute PDF for about 6 months. Like Joker said, it's limited. However, no problems thus far with the simple stuff.
